Pat McRae has a long history working for Redford Township. He’s served on several boards and commissions, including the Redford Township Board of Trustees, of which he was a member for 12 years. His first term in his current role as Supervisor began in November 2020 and will last through November 2024.
Pat and his family have lived in Redford Township for over 45 years. His favorite part of the Township is the small-town community, especially in such a metropolitan area. Pat says the people are engaged and inviting.
In his current position, he aims to help residents and make the community a better place for all. From umpiring and coaching to RTJAA and the Redford Township Library, Pat has been involved in a broad variety of areas that aid him in providing leadership to the Township.
In addition to his responsibilities as Supervisor, Pat also sits on the Conference of Western Wayne Board, Wayne County Transit Authority Board of Directors, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Community Advisory Board of Directors.
In the future, he hopes to revitalize Neighborhood Associations, strengthen connections with the local business community, and work with realtors to improve home and business values in Redford. He also aims to build stronger relationships with Wayne County and neighboring communities.
