Sealed proposals for the Glenhurst Golf Course Renovation will be received by the Redford Township Clerk until Thursday, August 15, 2002 at 3:00 P.M., at the Redford Township Hall, 15145 Beech Daly Road, Redford, Michigan 48239.

The project consists of the renovation of an existing 18-hole golf course located at 25345 West Six Mile Road, Redford, Michigan 48240. The general scope of work for the Glenhurst Golf Course Renovation is the implementation of an 18-hole master plan in one or two phases beginning in the fall of 2002. The golf course will remain open during construction.

Prospective bidders must submit evidence of qualification to perform golf course construction work. Bidders may obtain packets on July 25, 2002 containing Instructions to Bidders, Qualifications Forms, Proposal Forms, General Conditions, Technical Specifications, and Drawings. Packets may be obtained at the Redford Township Clerk's Office, 15145 Beech Daly Road, Redford, Michigan by making a non-refundable deposit of $30.00.

Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Glenhurst Golf Course Clubhouse, 25345 West Six Mile Road, Redford, Michigan.

A certified check or a corporate surety bond payable to the Charter Township of Redford in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must be submitted with each bid as guarantee the successful bidder will enter into a contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time for receiving.

The Township reserves the right to waive any irregularity in any bid or to reject any and all bids.
