A bi-partisan consensus has emerged in the Congress, and seed grants for sister city exchanges could be part of this legislative package - but the voices of the entire sister city movement - will be needed to secure this funding! Each U.S. member of Sister Cities International is being asked to contribute $50.00 for each of its international sister city partnerships to help fund the legislative advocacy effort required to pass this initiative. Sister Cities International Board Welcomes a New Member: Jo Moskowitz
Sister Cities International Board of Directors recently welcomed Jo Moskowitz to its membership. Moskowitz works with Citrix Systems, Inc. where she directs community and government affairs. She replaces Eddy Remy on the Board of Directors and will serve out the remainder of his term, which ends in July 2007.

Boxes of greeting cards with new images from this year's Showcase of Young Artists, as well as Sister Cities International logo cards, are now available!
