Cities Outside U.S.A. Eligible to be Considered for 2009 Annual Conference Site
During its meeting on October 14, Sister Cities International Board of Directors voted to rescind an earlier policy designating Washington, DC as the site for the 2009 Annual Conference. Instead, the Board voted to ask for expressions of interest from international sister cities to be considered for hosting the 2009 Annual Conference. Get more details about submitting a letter of interest on our website. Responses are due December 1, 2006. The Board of Directors will make a selection at its March meeting. Due to time constraints, a full Request for Proposal will not be issued. If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Olson at lolson@sister-cities.org, 202.347.8630.
