Department of Public Works

The Redford Township Department of Public Works handles a number of duties which include tree chipping service, weed cutting, snow removal from municipal buildings, maintenance of alleys, special events, rodent control, election set-up, and various other duties which concern the general operation of the Township.

The department also serves as a liason with the Wayne County Office of Public Services, Road division to coordinate, road grading, forestry concerns (within the county right of way), signs, traffic signals and pothole complaints.
