Yes, The Police Department keeps a record of lost and found
animals if they are called in.

should I do if bitten by an animal?
If bitten by an animal, you should receive medical attention
Immediately and then come to the Police station and file an
animal bite report. The Animal Control Officer will follow up
on the incident if necessary.
If
I have an accident on the roadway and there are no injuries
do I have to make a police report?
The law requires you to make a report if you have at least $1000.00
damage to your vehicle. You may call the Police station at the
time of the accident and request an Officer to come out. If
there is an officer available one will be sent, if not you will
be asked to exchange Information and file the report at the

should I do if I'm involved in a minor accident in a parking
lot?
An accident in a parking lot is considered a private property
accident. In the case of a private property accident without
injuries the Redford Police request that you exchange information
with all parties involved and file a report at the police station
within 30 days.

drivers license number, insurance company name and policy number.
