The Honorable Charlotte L. Wirth
Charlotte L. Wirth was appointed to the 17th District Court in March 1999 and elected in 2000. She is a graduate of Redford Union High School, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University Law School and was previously engaged in private law practice in Redford for nearly twenty years.
Judge Wirth is, or has been, a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Judges Association, Wayne County District Judges Association, Suburban Bar Association, and Livonia Bar Association.
Judge Wirth has been involved in community and school activities including Redford Township Chamber of Commerce, Library Commission, Community Development Block Grant Commission, Redford Union Districtwide School Improvement Committee, Extra-Curricular Task Force, Wayne State University Alumni Association, Audubon Society, MUCC, Detroit Institute of Arts Founder Society, Clean Up Redford, Rouge River Rescue, Redford Presbyterian Church member and attorney, and Redford Jaycees.
Judge Wirth is married and has two children.
