Community Help

Did you know that the Redford Department loans wheelchairs, walkers, canes and crutches to Redford residents free of charge? Contact the South Fire Station for availability @ 937-2029. (Must show proof of residency at time of pick-up.)

The Redford Township Fire Department is dedicated to improving community safety and will inspect the installation of your child's car seat. To schedule an appointment, contact the Battle Chief on duty at 313-387-2639.

For more safety information, please visit www.safekids.org
PLEASE NOTE: inspections are performed by on duty personnel and may need to be rescheduled if a 911 call is received.

Each year, Redford Township Firefighter's hold a collection drive for Toys For Tots.

To donate, please drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any of our 3 fire stations in November or December.
